Yeah, that's why I don't want to risk it... I will remove the powder brown and sell it. It is a beautiful specimen.
Wife is not happy as she had me buy it, but I like the blue more. LOL

The irony is the powder brown and sohal got along well in QT. I hope powder blue and sohal also get along when the time comes.
I need to finish QT of the small purple so I can get the purple and Sohal in at the same time. If that works, I am not getting any more tangs (unless I can make a gem tang work with the purple)

I’m a sucker for blue tangs. They are so pretty. Wanna try an Atlantic Blue one day.

It’s amazing how well they get along in the qt tank but once in the display the Mayhem starts. Typically these fish can go rogue over night.

Atlantic blue tangs are really bad about ick

I have not had luck with these either. I love them, but every time I've tried them I wind up with velvet.

I wish the yellow tang I got from you was a little more aggressive. It's been several weeks, but my stupid Clarkii clown still harasses him all the time and he has a few small rips in his tail. I think one good whack with his scalpel would teach the clown a lesson, but he won't do it.

Guess there is a variety of personalities as humans. My yellow tang is just an *********.
Powder Blue was submissive in QT, and now he thinks he rules the new tank. (We’ll see what happens when the Sohal joins the party in due time)

David:

That was what I thought, but so far the Powder Blue is being dominant.
Regardless, I borrowed a fish trap and added Nori, but they need to get used to it.
I have not fed them Today and they are indeed hungry, but nothing yet.

I am trying to figure out how to turn all lights red quickly and see if that works, but I don't know how to do that with Apex.

Since the powder brown and Sohal were in the same QT tank for months, do you think there’s a better chance for them to get along in the DT?

I rather remove the Powder blue and keep the brown and Sohal if that would work

Well, I shutdown all lights, pitch black for about an hour, had everything prepared and turned lights on full red.

Things didn’t work out as expected. I don’t know if they could still see the nets inside the tank or just too scared about what was going on. I think they were able to see the nets as I tried to entrap both powders but they buried deep inside the rock.

I gave up and will add some food into the fish trap besides the Nori as none of the fish went inside Today.
