Upgraded Tank, Upgrading my skimmer (1 Viewer)

On my 75gal i had a custom made skimmer from Sapphire (Kyle). I do not think the skimmer will keep up with my new 120 gallon tank (40 gal sump) so i am going to buy a new skimmer. I am currently looking at the Octopus 200 or the ASM G2. Please let me know your thoughts on each and make any suggestions for other skimmers.

I only have the following requirements.
In sump skimmer
QUIET....

I don't know anything about either of those skimmers. But my theory is, don't fix what isn't broke.

Why not TRY the existing skimmer on the new system & see what happens. You could be surprised..

I would go with the octopus, or MSX 200(practically the same thing) asm skimmers are outdated and not really comparable to the skimmer market today. I am using an asm g3 now and it skims pee while other people higher end skimmers are skimming out poop. You have a nice tank Dwayne with higher end gadget, why not just go all out on a higher end skimmer? ATB, MSX cone, or maybe even a bubbleking But if you want to save some money, take a look at them Bubble magus cone, those things are super cheap(for a cone anyways), I plan to upgrade to that soon.

Id go with the MSX or SWC version. I just got the SWC250 from reef filtration.
