Okay guys & gals have a few questions regarding the stuff that you can put into the tank so that the female clownfish will lay her eggs on……

I have been reading that some people put tiles down and saw one that had the rough side up… Is there any particular type of tile that can go into the tank without contaminating the water?
Not sure if tiles are pretreated with any chemicals to resist stains and stuff

Clay Pots….. I have seen some threads said you can use broken clay pots…. If they are broken could the fish end up injuring themselves if they should swim by the broken part?

What other items can be used for them to lay their eggs on that would be easy to remove from the breeding tank?

I use a piece of tile in my 300g for my clown to lay on. Place it where they laid their nest laat time. They will try to push it out so secure it down good. They will not like it at first but will get use to it. If they move to another spot to start cleaning, move that tile there.
