Three day weekend and y'all are not posting.

As for me, I'm putting in the new sump and probably moving some corals just because.

What are you doing?

i've been way too active with adding livestock so I am taking a break this weekend. Already did my weekly water changes, so i'm just enjoying the scenery.

Oh! completely forgot. Meeting RR-Man to get a lesson on phosban reactors. I should take on a simple DIY project that khanman suggested for my sump.

Yes, then I'll feel productive for the weekend.

i have nothing to do, no cash to progress on my build, unless i get some surprise hits on the stuff i got for sale. might get my leds tinned on monday by a co-worker. can't finnish the canopy until i design the led fixture.

maybe i'll buy some eggcrate for the tank, will need it for the foam wall. or i'll shop for a mini fridge for the continuos feeding setup i plan to do. all up in the air.

funny you mentioned posting. my stats say i post on an average of 3 per day. i'm trying to cut back, but it's hard. i'm too lazy to upload pics of the new skimmer. maybe this weekend.

Cutting back bushes, digging up dead bushes, mortaring in some rock around the pool, rebuilding a gate and if I get really industrious, digging a trench to attach a rain gutter down spout to a french drain to keep the side with the equipment from getting muddy (like I really need to...) and cutting down two sweet gum trees. If I get all of those done then maybe just maybe I will paint the fish room in the garage.

I'm going to get some new livestock tomorrow. Thinking 2 blue velvet damsels and some sort of clown. Then my tank should be just about set.

3 sergeant majors, 1 watchman goby so far.

Driving to Austin Saturday to take one of my twin boys to the UT game. While we are there, we will hit the Austin fish stores. Too bad we can't bring anything back, we won't get home early enough to risk it.

Steve, sounds like you will need to go back to work on Tuesday so you can get some rest! I've had weekends like that in the past.

Well i will be draining my tank and pulling it away from the wall some two to three inches more then were it is at now so I can put my skimmer on it... Now that I sold several corals and some livestick I took out about 90% of the rocks till clean the back and sides of the tank.. Then will refill and put all the rocks bak in trying ti think how to arrange the rocks... Then sit back relax...

About done putting in the new sump. Going to get some cheap carbon to filter the sump water which is very cloudy after the new mud addition. Don't really want to waste the good carbon on gross polishing.

This is fun. We should have three day fish weekends more often.

We have labour day up here too. Along with 11 other statutory and through my work hollidays. Sarnia where I live, is at the end of a pipeline from Alberta. Simular to the proposed pipeline going to Texas I presume. I have yet to hear of any problems with our pipeline and have lived here for many years. My tank is stable in low maintence mode with lots of living colourfull things in it.

Doing a water test on my new tank as I type. Guess I need to take some pictures and start a new post for the tank.
