It's time for our annual Moody Gardens back stage tour! Members can join us on a true backstage tour not available to the general public of the newly renovated Moody Gardens Aquarium as they celebrate their 20th anniversary! See their new marine and coral exhibits and learn how these exhibits (up to a 1,000,000 gallons) are operated. If the timing is right, see the feeding of various exhibits from the other side, the one the public doesn’t see. Learn more about the many research projects and partnerships Moody Gardens is participating in from sharks and inverts to coral reefs and visit their massive hospital and QT facility.

Safety Note - You may be venturing onto wet catwalks and slippery walkways, proper shoes are strongly recommended!

Parental Note - Disruptive children and guests may be bumped and used as food.

When: Saturday, September 14th 2019 and Sunday, September 15th, 2019.

Time: Be there at 9:30AM. The tour starts promptly at 10AM and afterwards you are free to tour the aquarium until the park closes. Additional exhibits are subject to availability and Moody Gardens pricing.

Where: Moody Gardens Aquarium in Galveston, TX (map)

Members and their Guests:
Tours will be limited to 23 adults, children age 12 and under do not count toward this total. (Do not register them.) Register now to reserve your slot(s). Tickets are transferable though not refundable.

Individual Memberships are limited to 2 tickets while Family Memberships are eligible for upto 4 tickets. While we wish we could take everyone, because tours are given during working hours, Moody Gardens limits the number of tour participants so space is limited, rsvp today by clicking the moody link.

Cost -
Adults (13 and up) $15
Children (4 - 12) $7.50

Full disclosure and warning, folks. I will be chaperoning one of the days. Not going to say which one. Want to keep y'all guessing which day someone might accidentally get bumped into the shark tank mwahaha

Where do we meet at Moody gardens?

The BoD that accompanies the group that day should chime in with a meeting place. Historically though, it has been by the front entrance of the aquarium pyramid.

The event prices are set by Moody Gardens. The event is open to supporting members of Marsh, one of the many perks that marsh supporting members can enjoy. Our guide(s), Roy and/or Ryan are long time supporters and partners of Marsh and always go above and beyond to make sure our groups have the best experience possible :)
