So, we tear down the 135g because the electrical bill is killing us. Karen puts in pair of her tiny baby clowns in a 7g. Well, duh! they out grow the 7g so she puts them in what was my 29g seahorse tank. Well, you know, clowns by themselves are boring because they won't leave their host (in this case a frogspawn) so you need something that swims to entertain you. Let's buy a small golden wrasse! Cool! He swims a lot and is very pretty. Soon he jumps out of the tank like all wrasse....DUH! Hmmm, what else can we put in here? I know, there's a GORGEOUS potter's angel. Plunk! Gabe the potter's angel goes in. Visit Village during MACNA and there's a BEAUTIFUL flame hawk. I've always wanted a flame hawk........flame hawk comes home with us. Eventually when these fish grow we're back to needing a bigger tank.

You know, I'm not really happy with the PCs. I've always wanted T-5s, they save on electricity. Ohhh, there's a good deal on a 4' Ice Cap retro, must snap that deal up!

Apparently our next tank when we upgrade again will be 4' because that's the size of the lights we just got. Frankly I think we should have just waited for a 6' deal because I know we're going to eventually want a 180-200g. If we keep just going up we might as well surpass where we had been and just accept that admitting you have a problem is not the first step to recovery

Hi! I'm Walter & I am a discus & reef-a-holic.
The only cure I have found is to buy more & bigger tanks.

I didn't even mention my 40g planted tank that's in the works........

Maybe I should have just jumped to the 120g discuss tank I'd really like to have

Two water changes a week is enought for adult discus. If you over filter the tank you can get by on once a week.
If your growing them out from 2" you will need to do a whole lot more.
If your breeding them once a day water changing is going on.

Yes I do breed them.
Right now I have white diamonds & marlboro reds growing up.

Karen just do it.
