How do you keep the water temperature at a respectable (74 -78) temperature?
I have a 55 gallon aquarium (FOWLR) with a single powerhead but a very strong eheim pump in an internal wet dry filter.
A/C unit is kept at 77 -78 during the day and 74 at night.
Water temperature in the day goes up to the 80 -82 mark. Damsels look fine but trigger looks unhappy as he stays near the bottom and does not move around much.
I have the powerhead pointing to the surface. One side of the tank has glass tops. No sump?
Just trying to figure out what else can be done.
