I used an oscillating multi-tool to cut off the clearly infected part and used a dropper to put hydrogen peroxide on the cut. I'll get a picture when the lights on the tank are brighter.

Cut off more than I probably needed to but the edge is looking good so far. Crazy part, the skeleton is 1.5" thick. I think this is near the initial frag plug that was glued on the rock years ago. I think I bought it 3/18/2018. I know I got it from Tidal Gardens and that is the only date I have emails from them. May have been the only time I ordered.

That is a nice clean cut, what blade did you use?
