What’s wrong with my zoas!?

All of my other zoas seem to be doing fine. The hammer coral did just die as well. Water parameters are fine. These were actually the fastest growing out of all the zoas in my Tank. Any info would be great. Thanks!

have you checked for nudibranches? Can you take them out and dip them? If so, a coral rx dip might expose some sort of pest.

I guess I’ll have to try and dip them. I have ReVive coral cleaner. Will that Work the same?

I don't have any experience with Revive but some claim they are similar. What you are looking for is something that comes off when dipping. Follow the directions and then look in the bottom of your dip container with a magnifying glass for any signs of pests.

If you don't have revive use ro/di water-nudis can't resist it.

Also, if you can borrow one of those blue flashlights, those work really well at spotting nudibranch's at night with the lights off.

I have ReVive. I’m going to dip them tomorrow.

That could be a cause for sure. I would dip just to see if anything falls off so you can rule that out.

I think it may be the tang.. I recently changed my feeding schedule from every day to every other day. Maybe he was just looking for a snack..

why every other day? I feed my fish twice a day. Yea, he's starving and picking at anything he can find. If nutrients are an issue, maybe you could look into better ways to control your nutrients so you can feed more. I think feeding every other day is punishing the fish. Especially tangs because they pick on rocks in the wild all day long.

Yeah, maybe I should stick to my normal feeding schedule...
