My favorite was the tunze... but still had issues... mainly humidity killed the controllers. Still use them but favorite is gravity fed. 20201226_011542.jpg 20201226_011628.jpg

The only thing I don’t like about gravity fed is that you have to elevate the reservoir off the floor (needs solid stand) and put it up high which makes it more noticeable in the room. It’s great for a garage or fish room. Not so great for a living room.

It doesn't have to be very high. In my 150, my reservoir is a cooler sitting on a plastic box, and the bottom of it is about the same height as the water line in the sump, and it all fits in the stand. Of course, it helps that I have a glass top on that tank, otherwise I would need a bigger reservoir that might not fit so well.
