Picked up a frag today with what looks like 2 of these from City Pets.

Nice frags, thanks for the tip from whomever posted the info about 4.99 frags :)

Should I be worried?

Nice one!!! While they are certainly not the prettiest things in the tank, they work as great nutrient sinks to help keep the tank cleaned up.

Maybe you should frag him? Never mind, just wait a bit and he will frag himself.

Later,
Trey

The vast majority of bristleworms are harmless, so you can let spike roam around. That would be NASTY to get stung from though, so if you plan on moving live rock around your tank, wear thick rubber gloves to prevent accidentally grabbing spike.

I've got two like that (that I know of), but they are more of a pink color and have developed quite the taste for anemone flesh. I used to only see them at night on occasion, but one now comes out every time that I feed Formula 2 flakes.

The pics did not do this thing justice.. it WAS VERY irradescent, golds and blues... was very trippy!

I look in my tank at night ALL the time and in the last two years, have NEVER seen this thing.. it was spooky!
