hey guy.. im no zoa pro, but what are Zoa PPE's? Some guy is offering these to me and says they are PPE's... but i have no clue what he is talking about. If its good, I dont want to pass it up.

Or you could mean what the zoa community means instead of what a safety engineer would say

Purple People Eaters, way overrated, were fetching 40 to 50 per ployp, now have come way down, check reef central, make sure what he is offering is similar to Blane Perun's. I have about 20 polyp's on a rock, and like my pink encrusting zoa's better....

As Shane pointed out, they're not actually zoanthids. They're palythoas. Hence, the larger polyps and short skirts.. hehe, "short skirts".

Purple people eaters is a commercial name for a certain color morph of proto palythoa

Just like zoa's...rare colors fetch a ridiculous price.

I just dont know if they will be a nuisance to my tank like some zoa's are. And also if the color is what it is. maybe I could place them on a rock on its own. I may give it a shot and see if they grow quick.
