Also using CaribSea AragaMilk or AragaMax you will never run into an imbalance. If you don't have an enormous calcium demand in your tank, its a good option.

I have a 3 gallon container that I continuously drip kalk from for my topoff. I mix in 6 teaspoons of Mrs. Wages with 3 gallons of RO/DI and drip at my evaporation rate which is 1 drip every 1.5 seconds. I am able to hold my calcium and alkalinity levels rock solid by doing this. My container is made from a used container of Utz Cheeze Balls from Sams. I then used a threaded 1/2" to 1/4" quick connect fitting to feed the 1/4" rigid tubing. The quick connect is held on the backside with a threaded 1/2" cpvc adapter. I control the flow with an airline valve on the end of the 1/4" rigid tubing. Total cost is about $7. $4 for the cheese balls, $2 for the quick connect, $.65 for the cpvc adapter.
