I was doing a water change on my 13 gallon biocube and in the back I found this. does anyone have any ideal what it is, why it is or where it came from?

Need more of a close up.
I thought first Bubble algae, but you said it was soft and Gelatinous.
That would refer more as what Dennis said, Sponges.
Does that overflow get a lot of light or not?
Just keep a close eye on it.

if so then I have a hundred of them. they all seem to be connected. like it's one big gelatinous mass with nodules

Look at them with the water over them and see if they open up or look different.

I would say sea squirt look up some images some plain ones look like that

I have had clear ones as well. I put a couple of emarld crabs and they took care of it.
