I found a frag plug at the bottom of my sump and pulled it out . I noticed this on the bottom of the plug. Can anyone identify it? (not the worm)

Could it be the original coral that was on the plug? I'd put the frag under low lighting and see if that patch colors up.

Thanks for the response. The original coral would have been a zoanthid of some sort, so that can't be the case.
Still unsure of what it might be. Someone on R2R guessed it was a tunicate, but I've never seen any tunicates that look like this.

It looks a little like a Favia to me, but I can't tell for sure.

That worm is pretty interesting too, never seen that pattern before. It sort of looks like a mini marine diamondback rattlesnake, if there were such a thing.

lol i think it was just a baby bristle worm but could be wrong

I've had them pop up in my tank a time or two, pretty confident they are eggs of some kind but I have yet to catch them hatch so I can't tell you what kind.
