I'll be the first to say I'm running Cheap Chinese Ebay 165/W Dimmable Led fixtures. They really light up a tank and have grown my coral, and I've actually seen some tanks that are doing very well from these fixtures. To light up my 150/G, I've got three on it and it's very bright. Only $250 for all three. My anemones do very well under them. I can put them on 100% and they will hide under the rocks. They're powerful!
I'm just over the LED thing right now and miss the even soft colors that T5 produce. This year I'm gonna start adding some nice SPS to my tank. Like Tabling Acro's and Green Slimers. I know that T5's will do a better job. So I'm going back to ATI T5's like I've had before. Can't wait!
