well we have a 1/2 circle RR 144g

was wondering what kind of shark i could keep in it

would they have problems sleeping while swimming?

or could i get nurse sharks? i think these are the only ones that dont need to swim to filter oxygen through their gills

anyone know much about sharks?

i think some of the smallest sharks are the banded sharks which still reach 3+ feet. your tanks smallest side needs to be at least the length of by 2.5x the length of, the max size of the shark, so unless you can afford a tank with at least an 8X3 footprint, i would say no go on sharks.

this is just my opinion of course. if you have an extra room you may look into a SW pond setup like at aquarium world.

i don't know about you guys but when i think of a shark tank i still image mean or vicious looking sharks. i know that there are many kinds but the more docile one's kind of take away from the presitage of saying that you have a shark tank.

but i also guess that in order to have that the tank has to be several thousand gallons. maybe i can just seal up my house and fill it with water and place a shark in it.
