This year's Reef Currents was a blast. First I wanted to thank the BOD and all of the Volunteers who helped us set up Friday and keep everything on track during the show. It would not have happened without all of you.


Now, let's see everyone's goodies! I know I spent way too much but picked up some sweet pieces.

I think my best purchase this weekend was one of the two Jolts that Jason Fox had! Can't wait to see it grow out in my system. My other purchase was a frag of RR Pink Floyd from Fraghouse Corals. The picture here is from this morning of the Pink Floyd using Mint Reefs standard clip on camera filter on my Galaxy S9+.

Agree Chris, this year was great! The collective efforts of so many folks are what made this year so wonderful.

I am pretty happy with my haul. One piece I got happened to be one that Mr Saltwater talked about that morning. He has one in his tank and shared a pic, its an oldie but goodie and I believe it was the only one at RC! I got a nice Sand Dollar coral. I also got (from the same vendor, thanks Jim!) Another classic piece, the Atlantic Chameleon. Was very happy with my haul from the EMF booth.

I also scored a gorgeous gold torch from Dennis @ FJW, thanks Dennis for my "Fiji Mafia" [emoji6] torch!

Scored some sweet chalices from them boys down south as well as a few zoa frags I can't wait to throw into the zoa garden.

As for dry goods it was great the see the guys from the St Louis area, Printed Reefing Solutions. Picked up a frag transport container and rack as well as a drying rack for my viles and syringes. Also excited to try some new dry goods products I picked up from EMF.

Total me and my dad picked up 14 frags! I even got my first bounce, and my first Jason fox coral! My list is

bounce mushroom, it’s green with some orange hints from that aquarium place
green rhodactis mushroom It has 3 mushrooms on one plug from ocean life
jason fox funky town favia from jf
pink chalice and a green eyed chalice form corals down south
cool orange mushroom from frontline I believe
neon green st plate coral and an acan with a green center and red ring from eye candy coral!

Thats my list to lazy to type out my dads will do his on a sperate post!

I like everything ecotech but time to try something different plus my tank set as peninsula so it will creat nice wave action. This bad boy is up to 6000 gph

Fraghouse had nice stuff but this year prices were a little higher. I guess it's all about supply and demand.
