Yes, since the bryopsis was growing on the frags it was easy to pull them out. Maybe you should try it in the sump since it is feeding off the nutrients in your tank. At least it wouldn't be an eyesore in your main tank anymore. :?
If you need chaeto, come on over. I've got a humongous amount of it that's going in the trash in the next day or two. The only problem is that there is some red cotton-ball-like algae that is growing in it in places, but it stays confined to the chaeto and sump. Even when some gets blown into the main tank accidentally it doesn't take hold anywhere. I can't guarantee the same for your tank but it's never been a problem in my main tank.
