Yes, since the bryopsis was growing on the frags it was easy to pull them out. Maybe you should try it in the sump since it is feeding off the nutrients in your tank. At least it wouldn't be an eyesore in your main tank anymore. :?

If you need chaeto, come on over. I've got a humongous amount of it that's going in the trash in the next day or two. The only problem is that there is some red cotton-ball-like algae that is growing in it in places, but it stays confined to the chaeto and sump. Even when some gets blown into the main tank accidentally it doesn't take hold anywhere. I can't guarantee the same for your tank but it's never been a problem in my main tank.

Yeah, I need some. I'll be off work tomorrow, is there a good time to come by?

Pretty much anytime. I'll be slaving over a bunch of cakes due this weekend. Oops, I mean, creating beautiful edible works of art. :)

I'd have to say my biggest surprise was a baby brittle star that crawled out of some live rock. :D

You didn't say pleasant surprise, right? :)

I found a bristleworm the size of a garter snake one night attacking an anemone....

That thing was actually scary hahahaha

Mr Crumpley, you could be nice and drop me off some at my house on your way home.

We live close to Jim. That is if you are going to take I45, if not then don't worry about it at all.

Biggest suprise would be the first night I saw my 55 gal with the lights out a few months after it had cycled. I was just amazed at the amount of life swimming and crawling around at night. Obviously copepods and bristleworms, but I saw two small hitchhiker crabs I had never seen before. This started a long string of buying batteries for my flashlight to watch the tank after lights out.....
