If you get a nice healthy one they do very well. I actually keep mine in a fuge so that he always has food. He has been going strong for 2 months now and he still hasn't run out of food. My wife thinks he is the ugliest thing she's ever seen but I think he's very cool.
This is my second one this year though, the first one died a few days after adding him to my tank; I think it just came down to a lot of them don't ship well.
you harlry ever see them though or at least that was my experience. I had one and though he died but one day i looked in my tank and he was the size o a coke can.
I have one in my tank, He kicks So mush ********* in the algae eating area its unreal. He is a machine. I have had him for around a month and I have had no problems so far at all. I would highly recommend them to everyone.
