Today I started to run carbon, the same way i've done in the past, and about two hours later my skimmer went nuckn futs . The water in the skimmer is about half way up the chamber and it's producing some of the dryest foam I have ever seen. BTW it's a PM ES100. The only thing I added to the tank today were a few frags and the carbon bag. Would the carbon cause it to do this? It's never done this in the past.

well i transfered all the coral to ALs' house for now until i get the tank and all the plumbing flushed. Not really upset on losing the fish, the blue tang will be missed though. Looks like the only thing that make it was a darn brittle star. My clam looks very stressed.

The good news is.... after less than 2 months from tank set-up day, I have the appearance of a 2 year old tank. Thanks for all the free-bee's Vic.  :D

Talk to the judge about that. If he sets a ruleing on the case I am going to appeal and your ..... errr.... MY coral is going to be tied up in litigation for months and months.

Ok on the real tip. I am gonna get some sleep.

Call me when you wake up.... it may be your last chance to see the coral. I am moving to Istambal tomorrow.

: -)

EDIT: One more update before bed. I just checked the tank with a flashlight. Everything is open and looking great. I think the bubbles will make it. The Clam is open and puffy liped. All the floressing on the clams lip is showing, so I think he is gonna be fine. The lobster is praticing escape and evasion tatics, so he is acting his normal self. I dont think we will loose any of the coral.

I owe AL and Loray a huge Thank You for helping out. I don't know alot of people who would get up in the middle of the night with their wives by their side carting all the water and salt mix they can get their hands on to help save a tank. [/b]

Hey bud. It is no problem helping you out. You would have done the same for us, and you HAVE done a lot to help us get started. If it were not for you and Estone, LaRay and I would not have the very nice setup we have now. Thanks for all the help from you. Just a small way of paying you back.

Looks like I'm gonna have to buy my stuff back. I look at my tank now and it looks like I just took an almost 2 year step back :( very depressing. My skimmer is still pulling some bubbles but not anywhere near like it was earlier. Hey Al, how's everything looking so far? I finally got everything cleaned up an put away. I think it's time for a a little nap.
