so i got a rose from Global, i just couldnt resist.

and i put him really high up in my tank, like 3 inches from surface.
and he was all good and bubbly tipped until he decides he wants to try and squeeze behind my overflow box.

should i try to pull him off and put him back where i had him? or should i just let him do whatever he wants?

ive heard of people losing their anenomes when they fall behind the rockwork and i would hate to lose my brand new rose.

anyone know what i should do?

If you have the right conditions in you tank it will find a spot it likes.
I don't recomend moving BTAs manually but if you want to once it won't hurt, but don't make it a habit of moving it were you want it. I would have started it out mid way in the tank near a ledge or crevice. BTAs like moderate light, flow, and a good place to hide their base.

Hey An, I saw you at Global last saturday, Mine attached immediately to the middle area of my tank and has stayed there since. I finally fed it earlier today (2 days later) and it took the small chunks of shrimp immediately.

i broke a inch sized piece of mysis and try to stick it in the anenome but it eventually thawed and fell out of the anenome.

another option is to get a clown or some type of host that will feed it.

I feed my roses silversides. I thaw them out first and just stick them into the anemones' tentacles. Mine loves them and is growing very nicely.

I hope everyones BTAs are doing well. This is the first time I have seen the market flooded with anenomes and so many people buying them.
