Where exactly do you catch peps at? (1 Viewer)

Were down at galveston beach right now on the jettis but arent finding anything, do you catch them in shallow water, inbetween the rocks, outside edge of rocks or what??

Jetties in front of rainforest cafe, pick the calmer side. Go to the last row of rocks and drag your net gentley along the rocks be calm and don't scare the peps away

No. halfway is fine. drag your net against the rock and between rocks up.

Alright, might of been our problem as we werent at the jetti by rainforest cafe, was no parking over there. Going there now

Yea it is pretty rough, just didnt know if it was what everyone else considered "rough". Stinks that waters are rough, was are first time trying to collect. Was excited about getting to catch different things. we were down here anyways, spent the day at moody gardens. How are you suppose to know when its going to even be calm enough to collect peps?

Watch the weather.

When you check the weather make sure the winds are below 15 or even below 10 miles per hour and it is at night time when they come out.

Ok, I knew to watch the weather I was meaning wind speed. Mwilliams answered my question. And yes I know at night. Thanks

I always forget to check the wind speed before I go.... Need to start doing that because it never fails the next day the wind speed will be absolutely perfect.
