Where to buy a Tube Steel Stand? (1 Viewer)

Hi guys, Im trying to get a few quotes from different people/professional steel stand builders in the area. I have already asked fish gallery and they will get back to me, anyone know of anyone else that builds them? Im guessing 1 1/2" tube steel 8' long x 30 wide x 38" tall. LMK thanks

I have seen some CADD drawings you have generated before. get a drawing done up, and start faxing! Tons of mom and pop shops looking for work, especially on north side. Try to find a smaller one. You can get steel from SSS, so it will be a labor only deal. i know someone that could run a cosmos structural analysis on your design, to proof it out, for a small fee.

For the size you’re looking for, might be best to fab up Qty two(2), four foot stands, that can bolt together.

You probably already know this, but if you get it from a non-aquarium place make sure they add the rust proof coating. "rust-proof" stainless steel is not good enough, you need a coating.

I had mine built by a friend at who owns a machine shop (as a favor), but I'm sure that there are a lot of shops that would do this kind of work around town. I'll ask around to see if they know anyone that would take a job like that.

My stand was powder-coated, that's probably what you would want done as well.
