Curious, how many members/guests do we currently have
looking for a sump or acrylic tank?

I'm in the market for a small sump system for my 30 cube. I'm in no rush though.

are you offering services?

I'm considering the idea of trying to make some stuff... I've done minimal work with the really thin stuff. I'm of the mind, the thickness
of sheets commonly used for aquaria would be easier to work with... and lord know I've got more than enough time on my hands right now. :)

With that in mind, i'll be trying to setup a workroom and trying to get some 'scraps' to mess with between friday and next week.

I've been curious in regards to the 'demand', and with seeing some of the recent requests I figured I'd post up the inquiry and see how much response there was.

I have been doing some shopping around looking for a sump for my 30 gallon cube also. I have plenty of time though.

with kyle of sapphire aquaics out of the business, this could be a very profitable gig for you, things that come to mind, overflow boxes, sumps, overflow wall-for d.i.yer's.
and of course nano tanks. and cube tanks reef ready. oh yeah, frag tanks too.

Good luck!

If you are ever around my area, let me know. I've got enough acrylic "scrap" to build quite a few smaller tanks, skimmers, ect. I've contemplated the idea of building some stuff for others as well, but my time now-a-days rarely allows me to even finish my own projects in a timely manner, unfortunately. In any case, you are welcome to stop by and "talk shop".

Maybe like the canopy building MARSH meeting topic we can have a Build your own sump party...Sounds like fun and very helpful to alot of folks that don't know where to start......Even how to adapt an old 20 gallon aquarium with baffles and stuff to be used as a sump.
I think you guys are on to something.
Esp. if we all can donate and share what we already have in our garage. I've got the Weldon stuff everybody is always looking for.....

...still trying to get workroom up and running. My 'help' became vaporware... but I got revenge when they called last night asking to borrow my table & miter saws.

in the maket for a larger one... like 5.5 to 6 foot long.. maybe 12-14 inches high and about the same deep.. not taking the time to figure gallons!! lol!! would like to have sump refuge combo but man are they expensive.. I would LET you make it as a "show piece" for advertisement purposes!!! LOL!!!
