I've had it about 5 years, and during that time, it has never split, and I've never fed it. I originally got two of these from someone. One went into a nem tank and has produced well over 100 siblings that never get over about 4".How long have you had this one?

Speaking of being near Acropora, are they really as close as they look, and if so, does the anemone ever sting them?
Yes, the lower part of the stick is dead where the nem is touching it. But up above, its thriving and branching. In fact, its grown about 2 inches and put all of those branches out since the lower part was nuked. But that's ok, I'm not a SPS fan anyway. All of the SPS I have were freebies just to see if I could grow them.It may be just me but in the 1st pic it looks like the lower 3rd of that stick is dead.
The one I had nuked about 1/4 of my walt disney when it decided to escape the enclosure I had for it..
But when they are large like that they sure are beautiful..
I think it is the room it has. My uncle had a 210 with mushrooms that had to be 8-12" across and a toadstool that measured 22" across. You have 400g.I've had it about 5 years, and during that time, it has never split, and I've never fed it. I originally got two of these from someone. The other one went into my big tank and has never split and is now over 16". Really makes wonder about these guys.
Here is a closer picture.
I forgot you moved to Pearland. James is a role model for all of us hahaWebster's tank is outrageously gorgeous. I would say one of my top 3 tanks of the decade. Just to see the gem tang and other fish is amazing.
I'm so lucky to have a neighbor like that in pearland.
