I don't have a pic but this morning, I looked in my small tank and on the front of a rock, there are these 2 orange bubbles.
They look like small bubble algae, but they are orange, I mean orange like a percula.
Are they just another kind of algae??

They are really small, for a mental image, if you glued them to the bottom of my percula, it would look like he has umm "family jewels"

unknown orange substance

Were you eating Cheetos while watching the tank?

If the orange critters were in the front of the tank, I would not suspect a sponge, because it is more common that they hang upside down in cave-like depressions. However, depending on your lighting, it is possible sponges could be in the front of the tank.

Definitely didn't look like sponges to me, but who knows.

They had a clearness to them, orange but could also kind of see through them.
They appeared after I left the lights off for an entire day, then I saw them yesterday when lights came on, after I got home from work, they were completely clear, had lost all the orange color.
So whatever they were, they didn't like the light.
