I work with the guy, he is in the structural group here at my work. His part time hobby is underwater photography. He has traveled a bunch and really taken some incredible pics. He doesn't keep a saltwater aquarium, but took these fantastic pics himself. Some of the crabs and sea spiders were just as small as a pin head.

Love the ornate ghost pipefish! That's the second one on my never-going-to-happen fishlist LOL.

Beautiful. amazing amount of particles floating thru the water. I would assume a lot of that is food, just makes you think how continuously inverts must eat.

He called it "muck diving". He said that there was so much trash on the surface of the water, that you literally had to scrape a hole in the trash to surface. I get the idea that a whole lot are really, really tiny. He has underwater gear and uses a real big underwater tripod. He said that the coconut octopus is about the size of a coconut.
