So I got a frag of 3 zoanthid polyps from FJW a year and a half ago and has since grown to over 200 polyps and covering 2 big rocks. It's getting close to the neighboring rocks...... should I try to attempt to control them by killing the outer polyps by feeding them Kalkwasser paste, or just avoid the issue and part ways with both rocks? I like the look of them but I'm afraid of it getting close to the SPS.
I don't really have any room to move those rocks to an isolated area. And of course there is the whole possible palytoxin issue with fragging them.

I have fragged zoas many times. Put on safety glasses and gloves then Cut between the polyps with a sharp blade. Peal off the frag and super glut it to a plug. I could show you how it's done if you want.

Thanks for the offer, I've fragged Zoas before but I don't like to.
The more I think about it I don't want to be fragging these fast growers over and over(which is why I mentioned Kalk paste although I hate the thought of killing them), I'm leaning to just part ways and make some room for more SPS. I'm about out of room and I have several SPS frags I'm going to be adding very soon.
I have 2 more large zoanthid colonies roughly the same size so I won't miss them much.

Zoa eating nudibranch's will fix that problem for you. I used to have some I could give you but finally got rid of them. Maybe somebody else has some.....:hungry:
