Got up and the water has completely cleared. Its cool to be able to see 8 feet down the long sides.

I dosed ammonia last night and took my first water samples this morning. I got the trim added to the bottom of the tank and think it looks better.

I got a Ring indoor camera mounted across from the tank to keep an eye on it while I am away.

Go the KH Director up and running, have it measuring twice a day, 6:30 am and 6:30 pm. I go the auto water change setup, I have the Stenner pump set up in the laundry room so I never have to hear it running and got he calcium reactor setup, the 20lb co2 tank actually fits inside the stand with everything else.

This is just absolutely an amazing build!! Truly stunning. There is a TON of knowledge showing in your build. Just curious, how long have you been in the hobby and how many different tank setups does the build make for you?

I havent been on the forum in forever. Someone texted me asking about the tank; the tank is still running, everything is doing good although I have not added anything in over a year.

Probably 6 months after it was running, I added a full Apex system to the tank with a trident, I did leave the GHL dosing equipment on the tank and it has been running that way every since. Each controller has pros and cons and I am using the parts that I like on both.

Honestly, I have not put much into it other than cleaning the glass, keeping the water change running and feeding the fish. Knock on wood, this is probably the one tank that I have not had any significant problems/emergencies with. I did loose my male true perc a few months back. I still have his mate, they were about five years old when I got them three years ago.

I do expect to take the tank down and sale it within the next year due to some life changes. If it weren't so big it would probably would have already be taken down.
