Update:
I'm without my borrowed camera at the moment, so I don't have any new pics to share, but I will give descriptions.
The oldest babies are now three plus months old and beginning to get the black outlines on all their other fins, and the largest of those are over an inch long, including tails. Some have already been sold to those who were on the waiting list, and others are very close to being ready to go to their new homes.
It's taken a lot of dedication and time for this moment, but I am very pleased with how my little children have turned out. They are happy, healthy and very, very spoiled little ones. They rush to the top of the water any time I get near, and, of course, I feed them.
They eat everything I give them, and will eat from my hand. Some will even swim into my cupped hand so that I could literally take them out in my hand if I wanted to.
Nemo, the solitaire, is doing very well. He's been in a tank with the hatch that came after him. That hatch is the fastest growing so far, with two in particular as big as some in the first hatch. I am planning to transfer them out and put them in with the first hatch soon.
The last babies, of which there are three survivors, are getting their second stripes now and are doing very well. There is another hatch coming up tomorrow, so I am hopeful about them.
Anyway, that's the latest for those of you still following along.
