Does any one use a deltec calcium reactor. I was thinking of buying one and was woundering how you like it.
If it has deltec on the lable it has to be good right.

So are you saying deltec reactors are not worth the money because of the name.
I know that they have great skimmers just wondering about there reactors.

Thanks for the info. I am getting a deltec APF600 skimmer nekt week. was thinking of getting the reactor also unless I find something better. any suggestions.

I'll see the guy that makes them tomorrow morning, so I'll ask if he has any lying around, ready for shipping and let you know......I have the combo reactor and it's the best thing short of Halide lights that I've ever bought for my tank in my opinion....

Deltec always has a nice setup (from the pics I have seen). but I saw they brought bigger and better this time. even a complete aquarium system. Deltec is trying to sell aquarium setups in the U.S. but I havent heard much of anyone trying to buy any. Heck, even other big players in germany are trying to make their way in with selling complete aquariums. I dont know how thats going to fly though with their big price tag vs aquariums we can get custom built by locals here.

Sorry about the tank. I was just the lucky one that saw the post first. It is very nice tank. I took it over to global and had a closed loop drilled. I will try to post pics in the future.

The proublem that I see with the deltec reactor It is strongly recommended that only Rowalith C+ media is used in these reactors.
How often do you have to fill the reactor with this media. They wan't 189 dollars for 50 lbs. How long would that last it could get Expensive depending on your tank demands.
