Can't comment on the mb7. Never used it. I will say that sps DO NOT thrive well with constant water chemistry changes. Stability is they key factor for survival imo. Hopefully someone else can chime in who's used it with sps.

How are your ammonia, trites, and trates reading?

ammonia..looks to be just a tad darker than 0... nitrites..0 nitrates are high today...almost scared to repeat it out loud...between 40 to 80 ppm...if I am seeing it right ...spike for sure today....how long will this last...I almost want to do a water change...if still high tomorrow ...I might ...all sps still strong ...fighting the good fight ...any advise ...for the nitrates ..

I'm with you Mike, I never saw a tank that wasn't stable thrive.
Many times ppl making abrupt/fast changes when the system is not doing good or they see one tiny spot of diatom algae and we in ALARM mode.
My tank isn't spotless and yes it's tempting to use some of these turbo color-up Acro pink pills.
But me waving the Blue Korallen-Zucht bottles is enough and if you dose do it in German your corals will love you for it.

Seit 1 yahre habe ich nun die Produkte von Kz im Einsatz wie folgt.
Montag: 10 Tropfen Zeobak und Zeofood, 4ml Zeostart 3, 6ml Flatwormstop, 10ml Booster, 12.5ml K-Balance und 10 Tropfen Amino Acid.
Dienstag: 4ml Zeostart,12.5ml K-Balance,,6 Tropfen Vitalicer 10ml Phols-Extra und 10 Tropfen Amino Acid.
Mittwoch: 4ml Zeostart, 10ml Booster, 10ml Coral Snow, 12.5ml K-Balance, und 10 Tropfen Amino Acid.
Donnerstag:10 Tropfen Zeobak, 4ml Zeostart, 5ml K-Balance, 10ml Phols-Extra und 10 Tropfen Amino Acid .
Freitag:4ml Zeostart, 12.5 ml K-Balance,10ml Booster,6ml Faltwormstop und 10 Tropfen Amino Acid
Samstag:4ml Zeostart, 6 Tropfen Vitalicer, 10 Tropfen Amino Acid,10 ml Pohls Extra und 12.5ml K-Balance.
Sonntag: 4ml Zeostart, 10ml Coral Snow, 12.5ml K-Balance, 10 Tropfen Amino Acid und 10ml Booster.
So das war es. Was meint ihr, soll ich so weitermachen oder eine Anpassung durchführen. Bis dann Ben.

sunday .. been 9 days ....everything looks great ... algae is clearing up. All corals look great ...showing extension and growth on most .... nitrates are still reading but coming back down.... did first water change today just a small one but didn't want to drop everything so fast... Saturday I did finish the seven days of sea chem stability and started the 2 weeks of brightwells microbacter 7 ... all I've read about this stuff I that in one week I will see a huge improvement ...so all eyes on the tank.... good thing I only work 2 days this coming week and ill be home to stare ... did get a few new pcs from k&k ... and even they look happy... I got that super coral... should be, it all came from the best keepers here on marsh.. cheers to the ones with the best ,so that I could get it... my tanks high at the foot of my bed and the light are dimming...on the dusk till dawn settings ... ah.. my own little ocean in a cube.... hard work pays off.....and for my coral addiction... dark8nge1...don't get mad but instead of beyond an obsession...my problem would be named.. beyond an addiction... lol...thanks to all who helped with my paranoia....

ok...Everything is going great ............so I must say that for all you that doubted the reef gods..............eat a coral..... its day 11 and I do still have between 10 - 15 ppm nitrates but going down and all sps look better than ever... algae is clearing up... .. I feel as good as the sps look.. I know im not totally in the clear ...just wanted to update for those who had faith... we did it... thanks for your help...
