That first location looked perfect. Why did you change the location?

Man! I knew someone would bring that up! :D

I liked it 100% more in the old spot. I just didn't feel comfortable having it on carpet. I can't rip it out due to this home being a leaser.

The pluses to having it where it is now is that I've had a few leaks to contend with. My cats knocked my top off hose out of the sump, and water was all over the floor! Also, it was easier to level.

You're right though... that old spot would have been best. But, I'm okay with this for now. I'm just happy to have it up and running at this point. :)

I think you have too much rocks. Open it up a little. Save the room for corals!!!! You need more flow in that sucker. 2 vortecs should do it. Looks good so far.

Haha! Ain't that the truth, RR!

Yeah, you're right Raymond. I do have too much rock in there. I've got plans to get rid of a lot of the rock now that the peps did their jobs. :D Only problem is, I suck at aquascaping. LOL! Wanna come over here and fix this mess for me?

Wow, Flip your tank is awesome looking!

Did the peps work for you?
Did they eat the atapsia? (sp)

Thanks! :) They to' that stuff up!!! I have no more! LOL! It took them 3 days to get at it all. I still have a lot of apstasia in the sump, but I didn't put any peps in there. I want to take my daughter to Galveston to get about 10 more for that. :) She's been beating me up to go down there for some time now.

Off topic, but was that John I saw in our neighborhood the other day? White car? Imperial Oaks Subdivision? If so, he was driving right by my house. :) It looked a lot like him.

Thanks for the compliments, all!

Just a quick update for the guys that know and want to see how the tank is coming along.

1. I purchased a Algae Free Tigershark. Dude, it's like night and day vs. the Mag Float. Seriously... not even in the same category. I let the algae build up for 4-5 days, and tested the Mag Float against the Algae Free. The Mag took 6 passes to get rid of "most" of the algae that built up on my acrylic. There was still some residue left, though. The Tigershark took "one" pass. The whole aquarium had a nice slimy layer of algae on it... you know... the stuff that your snails leave nice patterns in? ;) It took me "one" minute to clean it all off with the new magnet. My daughter timed me.

2. I added 3 Coral Vue High Seas powerheads. My flow is at around 12,000 gph now. I left the Koralias in there, and I'm not really counting the flow from the return... it's too gentle to add into the calculation.

Here are some updated pics:

Brother man, that tank swallows those fish. I was there when Q handed you the garbage bag (AKA bag of fish), so I truely know there size. It looks GOOD!

I tried to see what you were talking about and I didnt see it on your bluejaw. Maybe bad angle for me to judge but he should be fine.
