Hank, Thanks man! Yeah, I hope he pulls through, too. I didn't even notice the battle wound when I got him. I just knew that I wanted him. He's the biggest fish in the tank, and the shyest. I've read that it can take me several days for him to feel comfortable, so I'm just going to take it nice and slow with him. I wanted a clown trigger but Mike talked me out of it.

GAW, Thanks! It's been a heckuva chore, that's for sure. I'm finally able to sit back and enjoy it a bit. But, you know how us reefers are... always tinkering and "thinkering." I swear... if I didn't think too much about this and that, I would have been happy with my old 92g tank. :)

Paraletho, thank you! I'll be sure to check out that site, too.

Brian, yep! I have it right next to the kitchenette where we eat breakfast. I work nights and don't have the lights on in the morning, though. :) ;) It is hard trying to go straight to bed when I get home, though.

Looking really good Leo!
I have always wondered why those algae magnets were so much more expensive than mag-floats. Methinks I will have to pick one up. And you have some really nice and healthy looking fish there!

Dude, with as many bells and whistles that you have on that PHAT rimless, I'm actually shocked to hear you "don't" have one. For real... it's the shizzle.

I literally let the tank get nice and nasty before purchasing the Algae Free. The Mag is nice, don't get me wrong, but there really is no comparison.

Thanks for the compliments too, man! Great bunch of fellows you all are. :My Best Yoda Voice::

Hey Leo,
Yeah I'm tired of the Mag, would this work on a tank with 3/4" thick glass?

Yes sir! I think you'll need to run a Tiger Shark version though. I have the Hammerhead, which is about the same size, but for 1/2 to 5/8" thick panes. Check out Aquarium Specialty, dude. Call Scott and he'll tell you what you need, for sure. He's an awesome guy and got the stuff to my door yesterday. I ordered on Monday, by the way. ;)

Just don't get your fingers between them garaunteed blood blister. Also start one high and one low and slide them together. No more snatching the float side and go.Serious rare earth magnets.

Do you have the "monster" Mag? (about 5"x12")

Thanks Dennis! :)

Here's a pic I took the other day that I thought came out nicely. Really shows off the depth and water movement:

Here's an updated video of the tank. Just took yesterday. I'm adding more corals here soon, too. I'll post what it looks like after I do that.

No, it's way smaller.

It's the best, about $150 though. It's made for up to 1.5 or 2".

It's looking good Leo.

how do you like those double koralia looking pumps and where did you get them

I write reviews for another site... I hope the mods don't mind that I post this blog I did for them. But, this should answer most of the questions you might have about them:

http://reefkeepingforums.com/blog/blog1.php/2009/08/24/coralvue-high-seas-dual-3000-gph-wave-ma

In short, I like them a lot. :) Only problem is, Coralvue is having a hard time keeping up with demand. I guess more people order them than we all think... I'm just not ashamed of them. LOL
