Thanks to Mitchell for joining in on the fun.

5-6 Sgt majors, 1 molly Miller. Lots of crabs and snails I need to ask about, 6 rock flower. We saw so many rock flower it was crazy. Maybe 500+. Deep blues to purple to light blue and pink and red shaded ones also.

I spent 4 hours hunting and did not see a single peppermint. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. Pics once I get em home.

Nice...the anemones are not Rock Flower's. They are Warty's. :)
Ok thanks for correction. Any words of advice on these crabs and snails?
Won’t let me post videos. I’ll get pics.

Awesome. Post some of those nems under some blues to see if they're colorful. I had to google warty and appears to be brownish, but give it whirl!

Yes, a lot (most) of the crabs and snails are predators. Others will crawl right out of the tank and fall on the floor or crawl around the outside of the tank.

One time I found these tiny snails eating all the algae on the rock lines. I mean they were literally mowing it down. I got about 100 of them and threw them in a remote sump. They all crawled to the top of the glass and then over. That was the last time I got any snails or crabs unless I know exactly what they are.

I would not put any inverts from Galveston into a reef tank, with exceptions being peppermint shrimp, porcelain crabs and pods.

Way to to many of them are carnivores, even the hermits you find are a threat to sleeping fish if they can grab them.

I put a Galveston crab in my tank and one night I felt something bite my toe when I was sleeping. 😝
