Ok guys yall are getting a little hostile.
The reason (for those who dont know or understand whats going on) that we dont as a rule return animals from our tanks to the wild is typically because our other fish, the ones not from Galveston, come in with things we cant take out like infections, bacteria and diseases that are local to the indo pacific etc and NOT Galveston. If you release native animals back to Galveston after having been in your tank the diseases can live here and spread killing thousands of other fish who have never been in contact with this illness before.
Soymilk's statement about it being better to kill it rather than return it is, imo, the responsible one. Besides these are fish caught and eaten for food, this isnt a fish that could be considered endangered.
