You made the ridiculous claim. Remember, it’s a bunch of Horse Sh!t. We can compare growth and color too. My tank is only 18 months old, and I bet it’s not too far behind yours. I’m fixing to do an update on my system soon.

Here’s the before:

Show me your tank. A 17 second shot of that one colony. Full tank shot please. Who cares if your tank is growing “faster”. Yes it’s horse ************. The coral grows and I don’t need to drop untold amounts of money for the same end result. You say that I’m overdosing. What does it matter? The coral is growing. The colors are fine and honestly you can do a lot with lighting to deceive the eyes. No one needs to do an oceamo test. People have been successfully reefing with our all this new nonsense. If you any to be fanatical about your testing and parameters more power to you. But don’t sit there and push products that aren’t necessary just because you think it is the only way. I’ve been plenty successful reefing on my budget. I don’t care what anybody says triton is a good enough test to keep a successful reef. Also I don’t and have never dosed floride. You know why? Because it isn’t important for the corals… There is no proof that it is. Because if it was my tank would have crashed by now

For what its worth, i just had my 1st ICP test from Reef Labs if you like to check it out.
I think it would be great to compare.
I really dont know the difference between any of them. I have since dosed all the deficient minor and trace elements. All from Captive8.
Also have their salt on the way. will test again next month.
Any and all help is appreciated!!

It’s probably just fine just don’t use icp analysis.com. Absolute garbage. If it’s anything like triton it has everything you need as far as parameters. Of course you still need alk and your nutrients testing…

Didn’t realize til now you posted your results. If the numbers are accurate that’s a great test kit. It even has BS parameters you don’t need like rubidium. Another additive that isn’t needed in the reef…

Whatever method you use good luck with it. There are some great elements to the moonshiner program. I believe a lot of it is great and I adhere to much of it. I’ve been doing it for a couple years now and it has done wonders for my tank.

I heard about moonshiners after i found this method. Had i heard about it before, Ide be moonshining myself.
Just found this one first. I listen to a lot of different ways of reefing and find them all interesting.

That’s great tank profile I’m actually planning on taking down my tank for something similar. My new tank is 16T 48L and 20 D. The glass is in the garage I’m just a lazy Reefer. You got it set up right with lots of room for growth. I was impatient I wish I had never put monti’s in my tank. It’s taking over and killing everything in its path. I constantly have to break off chuncks and throw it in the trash

How much is oceamo? What is the turn around on testing? I’m also curious about reef labs turnaround. $40 for reef labs so same as ATI. I didn’t like the turnaround ATI took them almost three week to turnaround an ICP. Longest I have ever waited on triton is two weeks. Best case I have gotten test back in as little as 5 shipping time included

You can’t just buy an ICP machine, and start testing water. It goes far beyond that. There’s a reason why it’s $40. Reef Labs is also OES.

The only other option is OCEAMO or ICP analysis . com.

Who do you want to give your money to? A EU Chemist, or a business Tycoon.

Btw, google the ICP Analysis address, and look at the building their working out of. It’s in the same building with the US Census Bureau. Lol.

This is what typical results look like when most folks transition over to ICP-MS form OES. All those really important elements are pretty much depleted or low. That is a fact. 8 out of 10 are completely jacked, and those that start targeting these elements see much better color and growth.

You about as delusional as they come. Mind your own business. Yes I use moonshiners to a degree but I use what makes sense not what puts extra money in Andre’s pockets. At this point and with your stupid commentary I will assume it somehow goes in your pockets as well. I still don’t see those amazing tank shots. Where are they? Mic drop…
