Isis, they either don't want to be "show offs" or they are just being modest, both are commendable traits to be encouraged not picked on. ;)

Yes that is a jab at all you people who haven't turned in your pics, com'on and blow me out the water.

Better late than never - I finally got mine submitted, and yes, that does include one for a tank less than 9 months (just under 5 months actually).

I was going to submit one, but I'm not allowed to, since I, personally, am not a paid member. Oh, well....... Then again, maybe I could submit it under my spouse's name, since she's the official paid member :D

All you have to do is pay the $30 like everyone else...people who pay now enjoy membership through Dec 31, 2005.

We've already paid.

:banghead2: Round and round we go... Didn't we just go through this on another thread?

Let me know how this works out. My wife doesn't give a rats patootie about keeping a SW tank, but if unpaid spouses / domestic partners count, I can just enter some more photos in her name. :D

Linda,

I've got an olympus 5050. I got it last year. It's easy enough to use that I've gotten pretty good pics out of it consistently, but I'm just starting to get into some of the more complicated settings, so I can deal with more challenging shooting conditions. It got really good reviews when I was looking for cameras. I finally came down to a choice between a nikon 5700, and the olympus. The cheapest underwater housing, (for scuba), I could find for the nikon was $800, and you couldn't access all the fuctions of the camera, because it wasn't made by nikon. On the other hand Olympus Japan, makes housing for most of the olympus cameras, so you can access every feature of the camera, and it was less than $200. It made the choice pretty easy for me.

incysor,

So do you just dunk the camera into the tank with the underwater housing on it or do you jump in with the camera?

My tanks aren't really big enough to take advantage of the housing. But it would probably work pretty well for some of ya'll with the big tanks.

Hahaha, good question. It's for the 2005 year, or if someone has already re-registered for next year, it's for 2006.
