looks like 1/4 plexi, it should hold up fine. not sure why it's bowing thouggh. take it back to him and show him. may i see a pic of your return section? want to see how you have the return plumbed.

from 1" bulkhead to 1" ball valve to a 1" union to a 1" slip to 3/4" female threaded adapter to the inlet of the pump.
then from the out put of the pump its a double ended female threaded 3/4" adapter with a 3/4" male threaded barb fitting.
that leads to the returns that is split with a 3/4" barb T fitting.
that can be seen in the vid i posted about the flow.
but i will continue to try an upload the pics for u.

ok, first off i have a lot of updating to do on here tank has been coming a long nicely. sec,....Y IS IT,?, I CANT UPLOAD ANY PICS ANYMORE? and lastly i need someone in my areas HELP. hopefully this sat, i know its last min. but my tank decided to started leaking at one of drain bulk heads. not real bad but need fixed. i just finnaly got my schedule 80 pipe and fittings 2day. need someone who is experienced with hard plumbing a reef. i dont know how thats why i used the soft tubing... PLEASE SOMEONE HELP. ill buy you lunch and supply the beer..
