I think he's just bleached. Something about LED vs T5s. I would move him lower in the tank for less PAR to see if he colors up.

They can spontaneously turn yellow/partially yellow temporarily or permanently according to Victor at WWC (ReefStock 2018 talk).

Regardless, they are extremely expensive, because collectors don't seem to find/collect many, if any. You can easily re-home it to any of the MARSH members or sponsors.

Got some new pics of him under whites with no blues. He seems to have some charcoal black towards his tail.

Well if the lower PAR didn't work then maybe you should just tune your LEDs to cast yellow. I don't have my lucky color wheel handy, but maybe red and green makes yellow. There. That's the key to a yellow tang! Okay I'll stop. lol

Good looking fish regardless. At least it's unique.
