My tank has been having this annoying 'old tank syndrome': no more SPACE for new corals :). There are a lot of sps that I want to add to my collection but couldn't find the space for them, and having to keep some of the new frags in the frag tank now. As you see in this video, I have tried to put corals all the way to the side glasses, back glass and ~2" away from the front glass in a 30" wide and 6ft long tank and still run out of space:). I used my iphone 6plus to record this, not the best quality but still not bad. Hope you like the view:)

Quoc,

Time to upgrade man. This time make the tank 50" wide. You have ample space in the garage,

The video looks unreal. Incredible coral growth.

BTW-Did the Achilles tang made it?

Ya awesome tank your angels do not nibble at your corals?
No, or not yet... :). I'm quite lucky w/ my angels so far. My Queen angel (my favorite angelfish) has been behaving well in the last 2-3 yrs. However, there are some corals that I can't keep anymore like zoos, brain or meaty corals like acans or donuts, sponges,.... and clams also. Well, you can't have everything lol.

Getting a bigger tank does not cure the addiction, adding another tank does not cure the addictions. Only much phsycotherapy can help you at this point.
David, speaking from your own experience? :). I absolutely agree. Doesn't matter how big the tank are or how many tanks we got, we - the reef nerds - will fill them up quickly with our insane addictions :)

John,
Just the thought about all the work of breaking off all those colonies, moving them, taking down the tank already gives me a major headache! So no, I don't want to touch it anymore :)

Quoc, Through the years I have seen this system grow into a beautiful thriving reef. Make room by purging some of those beauties:cool:
I need some of those beauties in my system. I'm all about acro cleaned out  just in the past few weeks I revamped my system.... Major ordeal as you know. Sometimes it's just best to leave as is as your system is a perfect environment that you created!

Quick question....

How is it working all summer long in your garage!?!?:flame::tea:

I know what that feels like. All my little side jobs are in my garage. I set up a fan in the summer that blows very well. Still not A/C though.

My main question I want to ask is how much does that tank consume dosing wise? What is your daily or weekly demand?

Plus, you never answered my PM. I want to buy a piece of that lime green Torch coral or whatever that thing is. Let me know.:rain::ranger:

Reefahholic, sorry I haven't been on to this forum for a while and missed some PMs including yours. I have not fragged the neon green torch yet.

The summer for my tank in the garage is pretty rough- have to keep the temperature around 84-86 (even higher in the frag tank), so corals are not very pleased with me:)

added a lot of insulation to my building in the spring. Even with the high temps my tank hasn't hit 82 this yr. Last summer I had days when I had to turn the lighting off because of water temps
