Does anyone know if the pepper mint shrimp will be out yet? I was thinking about going on a collection trip to Galveston this coming weekend.

Tenative Saturday Night around 8pm. Alot depends on weather. I plan on leaving pearland around 7pm. Going to try the rock groins between 61st and 71st street. I will do some more G-earth recon this week. PM me if you would like to join up. Pretty much just looking for peps. It is still kind of early from the info I am getting. Pete went out and only got one last weekend.

All depends on the temp of the water. I remembered on my first collection trip it was this time of year but the weather had not been so crazy like it has been this month.

Looks like this weekend won't be the best for collecting, tomorrow's going to have high winds and high surf, doubtful it'll lessen much for Saturday.

have decided based on water conditions to hold off until things get calmer and warmer. Will post in a couple of weeks.

I need to go too... My tank has all of a sudden exploded with those darn aptasia and majano like crazy...
I hope this weather hurries up and straightens up....
