So I took 14 pics and this is the only decent one...

But I started with a single lonely orphan and now I have five! To me this is one of the best parts of the hobby, watching things grow and knowing that you are taking such good care of your tank that they grow so well.

I'm gonna grow it out to about a dozen then cut some 3 or 4 polyp frags off and start my own thread!

Thanks again Ed!

Since January
the zoa frag I have in it now is doing wonderful, I have no am,nit, nitrate <5, phos .025 I keep spG at 1.025, temp 78 and T5 X6 I have nice coraline everywhere and nice cope and bug colony in refuge, I change the water Q2weeks @ 25% no loss yet....but I still keep my fingers crossed- I also have some rics that are doing great and monti pora and digita that are full and colorfull that I target pplankton about 1-2 weekly. I have protien skimmer that keeps water quality very even and stable. I read the rules on the pictures and paying it forward and have no problem with either.
~Thanks, Sheila

Okay! Thank you so much and I very much will share anything I have to anyone wanting it when it grows enough to frag. I will have to have someone who knows how to do it first though.

Yup I had a small algae outbreak recently so I am waiting until I clear that up before I try to frag it, but it should be soon.

I counted mine the other day. It has grown from the original 8 or 9 heads to 17 or 18 heads, essentially doubling in size.

Since I'm not a trained surgeon, don't know if I would be doing more harm than good at this point trying to cut it up, but...

I can see if I can find a cutting tool and help someone out.

k, thanks Rod...just make sure you use a "diamond" blade so that it cuts it not melts it...i'm goin to angelas this weekend and can bring my dremel by if you want...

zoa cutting is VERY easy...almost impossible to do it wrong...or damage them beyond repair...
