Damsel hosting nem

I had a bubble tip in the pico tank for a little bit (holding for a friend) and got to see my damsel host it... weird.

are u using the stock hood for your bc29. your bc looks very nice by the way

yup all stock lighting on the bc... would't mind some brighter moonlights but I am cheap. the bc just went through a face-lift (not for the better) because I fragged out the leather coral a few weeks ago, big time cause it was WAY too big. now I am just waiting for the frag to attach themselves to the LR rubble.

On the pico I upgraded the lighting to a mini aqualight dual t5 and everything in the tank is VERY happy. will have to upload pics tonight.

Changed up the pico, added a new t5 fixture and added a few little zoa frags, leather finger frag and mushrooms. The clown in there is temporary till I can find a home for her since she was not nice to my other clowns.

I moved my maroon back home a few weeks ago after finding a new home for his nemesis. Everyone is happy... except now I want to move my cleaner shrimp to my 65 and get a pair of harlequins for the biocube. Any ideas!?

That would be cool, but you will see them less. I loved mine before it passed. It was always a treat to walk by the tank and see it waving it's little claws around. I would imagine it saying "You do not see me... I am simply another coral waving in the current."

so i went to citipets today to have a looksey and it appeared they were having some h20 quality issues so I bought nada...BUT I saw a little harlequin, definatley considering it. Meanwhile I am content with my cleaner shrimp

I will take you up on the offer of the choco star chunk if/when i get a harlequin(pair)

I'm not really sure what happened to my harlequin. However I have read that they can be scared to death by something as little as a fast swimming fish!!!! Shocking! Supposedly this is fact though.

So I figure either a fish scared her, or one of my many pistol shrimp decided she was the enemy.

Either way it was a sad day when I realized that I hadn't seen her in a while.

Dang, well I am still thinking about it, cause they are so cool, but I am sure it would get a little too expensive to keep them. Maybe I'll get some sexy shrimp instead :-( Gotta think about it more though

Bongo Shrimp would be cool too and I have TONs of brittle stars in my 65G. I could keep the bongo shrimp in my pico and bring food in from home.

Been 1 week since i ordered my cadlights pico. I contacted them a few times and finally got a response yesterday.
All pre-orders were delayed due to a container with required components for the tanks were held up in customs. Now we play the waiting game... makes you wonder where the parts are coming from.
so far I am not on the positive side of a review for the tank.

BTW that was an ingenious design, the only flaw being that my battery died.

still awaiting shipping info for the cadlights mini, wow this is poor service, i have had to request updates and its been like pulling teeth. bad to worse.

***UPDATE*****
just checked and found it shipped out today from CA,
ETA this tuesday. still I pre-ordered the tank on 18FEB being told they would ship on the 20th, I understand things happen to delay but thats when they need to inform the customer.

once i emailed them they were pretty good at responding but i would rather be informed without me having to initiate being that i paid for a service.

on a lighter note i got my harlequin pair and hope to get some pictures halfway decent posted soon. they are so cool.
