Some people have already got their cadlights picos and beat me on the review but mine is getting here today and I will set it up, woo hoo!

So far the LED's appear pretty weak but they say it may be sufficient for mushrooms, zoas etc. the removable media back looks perfect for modding so I will be picking up some chemipure and purigen plus now I get to sew up some custom filter-socks!

Alright been SOOO busy but yesterday I got my cadlights mini 4g and today I decided to fill it up and get it prep'd for me to take to work tomorrow.

I have the heater in the DT area but will move it to the back chamber tomorrow after I have the temperature JUST RIGHT.

The glass top I would have liked if they rounded the corners to match the tank corners but they only rounded the back right one, y? idk. at least the left back corner is shaped to allow for cords from the back to get out.

The LED fixture, it's very sleek and modern looking and at under 4 watts is very $$ friendly but as most of us have realized it will only provide enough light for low light softies at best.

I didnt take any pictures of the back removable chamber but in the second compartment I installed a small box made out of egg-crate where I plan to house some chaeto with some submersible lights I have.

All in all it's not bad. Some of the acrylic was not completely glued in and one of the "legs" keeps falling off, but for the price it's a competitive AIO pico.

Very attractive looking tank. I like the rimless open top look although I'm not a big fan of the glass top. Those supports for it are probably going to need to be cleaned on a regular basis.

the more i look at the tank set up in the house the more i like it. excited to get a rock in there and spice it up.
the supports are not my favorite but having a lid on the pico will help big time with cutting down on evaporation, esp. for an at-work tank when I leave for the weekend. the supports are just plastic and not gonna be a real inconvenience as far as I have seen but I'll watch it over time.

so far it's running nice and quiet and my heater is keeping it at 80, i may drop it to 78 but it's looking good. I am tempted to put my harlequins in there one day... here's to wishing I spent less on tanks and more on a nicer camera:

I'll get some better ones another day, when im not so tired

Sweet tank and sweet shrimp!

My wife and I are looking though pictures and doing research on what we'd like to stock. She fell in love with these shrimp. But, of course, one of our daughters (age eight) wants a sea star. Ha. Be interesting to see who wins that battle of wills. Chick fight!

I've been considering a harlequin or two for my 10 gallon. do you know if they eat frozen starfish, or only fresh?

you could probably harvest legs off of a few chocolate chips kept in a sump and freeze the legs. just start the leg harvesting a while before you buy harlequins.
