That birdsnest ain't bleached. That sucker looks dead.

I this photo you can see it had polyps but it lost all the pigment. Only coral that had any issues. During that time. Only thing I could think of is to much light as it was sitting directly under a puck. When it started to loose pigment the area got really bright. I tried to buy a diffuser and shade it but I think it was to late. I also moved it lower in the tank but it never recovered. It never stn/rtn but when I came back from vacation most of it was gone.

My tank the 40 hit it’s 1yr as well! Your tank looks wayy better than mine. I’ve spent majority of the year just deciding on what to stock my tank with 😂 I think I’m done changing my stock I hope 😂
Haha, I knew for the most part what I wanted to do. But I still have issues with wanting more variety. I guess I need a bigger tank. :ROFLMAO:

Looking great! You're a lot braver than I am when it comes to putting corals very close to each other, especially when mixing genuses. I hope it continues to work for you when they grow out.

Hopefully I will eventually have a new bigger home for them. I really haven’t planned well on that part. At first I honestly didn’t know if I would be able to keep this going. Especially since I had a 1 yr old and not much time on my hands with other commitments. Honestly ever since getting the reactor everything has really started to grow a lot faster.

I’m trying to get another tank setup to house encrusting corals as I really don’t have much rock work. That way I can move stuff around. I would like to get an even balance of colors. My original plan was to keep certain corals on separate rock structures that’s why I put 4 different towers but that didn’t work out how I planned haha
