IO-reef crystals. Why? Three names off the top..
Jason Fox, Mike Paletta, Sanjay Joshi. I don't think they use the reef crystals but I do. They are consistent as far as salts go and the price is very reasonable.

IORC because it’s cheap and the Mag and Cal or elevated which I like. If the Alk was 8.0 it would be perfect, but it’s not.

It will precipitate bad if you let your temp get too high in the reservoir. You can clean it up with an air-stone.

I’ve been dosing pH buffer to bring my alk down when mixing my salt water. Luckily I do enough water changes I know how much to add to make the alk about 8

Ive used Reef Crystals for years, never had an issue and its very affordable.

Really just pick a salt that matches what parameters you like to keep the tank at and your set. Just make sure to mix the bucket / bag up when you get it as salts can stratify during shipping.

That’s what I do. Seachem Acid Buffer is my go to. I used to use acid, but it’s just a pain in the butt using PPE constantly. Now I only use acid to clean calcium carbonate deposits.

Using Fritz right now but not sure how much longer. Rico's giant tank crash kind of scared me away from them. Might go back to RedSea Blue bucket.

Did you add enough water? What size is the mixing pump. Gezz, that is super cloudy. That’s not even precipitation. That’s just not mixed or mixing well. Did you switch salt brands or you still using it?

Yeah I’m no longer using that brand. Mag 700 pump.

That’s good. Whatever it was it didn’t look good at all. A Mag 7 would have easily got that mixed quick. Reef Crystal’s and Regular IO mix decently for the price. Regardless of what BRS says...IO is good salt that is probably the most popular of all the brands. This is due to its low cost.
