These are my mushroom collection update. My jawbreaker is still super tiny (smaller than a dime) but my electus is a size of a quarter now. Got them both at the same time.

Nice! Did they start off the same size? Is that a bubbled Yuma?

Andddd apparently I suck at live sales. Will need to get with someone out there who has a JF blue bounce at some point. Could not sit still long enough at the computer to refresh a million times.

Does that mean you’ll sell one [emoji51]

The next head is yours. Keep in mind that they're not big heads though, ime.

Quarter sized max seems to be the trend. I got mine at a nickel size and most frags I have given out about that size as well.

That’s cool.

online sells are truly frustrating, don't even try anymore.

It was my first. It was interesting, while I was doing my water change lol.

I’ve been noticing that I’m starting to have a bubble algae problem. Are these any solutions to getting rid of this without emerald crabs?

I used Vibrant to get rid of mine. Word of warning however, test every day or every other day while dosing vibrant. It will deplete some elements in your water while it is working, especially Potassium.

+1, works but wreaks just a bit of havoc on the system if used too long in my opinion. Almost felt like a mini-cycle before my tank went back to normal after using vibrant. Bubble algae was gone though!

No thank you to the mini cycle. I’ll live with the eebie jeebies instead.

Worth it for me too, wasn't a plague of bubble algae but wasn't comfortable selling frags to others with it in my system.

And I'm dealing with sensitive acros in the system and they were fine.

My cobalt neo therm heater is acting up. It seems there’s voltage problems with it and the apex is not able to control it as programmed. I’m getting a replacement but since last night I have been manually turning the heater on and then off every hour for the temp to stay within normal limits. I’ve tried sticking the heater directly in to an outlet but I’ve found that it is inaccurate. So... this is my life right now. This is in no way as bad as frank’s situation but I thought I’d share to make you feel a little better.

That's terrible! What do you keep your tank at? My heater basically doesn't ever turn on from March-October because of my UV and T5 bulbs keeping it toasty.
